About the Piece
This piece is inspired by deep dark jungles with beautiful, vibrant greens. Layers of paint, colors, and textures work together to reflect the layers of leaves, foliage, and depth that monstera leaves and its other tropical counterparts share together. With this piece I wanted to explore texture, gloss, shine, and the different ways these ideas can interact with color to create a multidimensional piece.
